Masdevallia Othello (collina x infracta)
Masdevallias love taking low light to medium light growing wide petal to grass like leaves. In the winter they rest and lose their leaves in order to preserve energy. Most Masdevallia come out in the spring and some even seem to have a face on it giving the Masdevallias the nickname ‘monkey face orchid’.
Flowers come out late Spring and are somewhat sequential, giving a mass display of flowers that continuously release for some time.
